How to install
Add NotFair to Claude Code in 4 steps
Free · No credit card · No API key to copy
Open Claude Code
Open a terminal and start Claude Code. If you do not have it installed, follow Anthropic's install guide first.
Install the toprank plugin
In Claude Code, run these slash commands to register the toprank marketplace, install the NotFair plugin, and reload plugins. Toprank ships with pre-made paid-ads and SEO skills that teach Claude how to audit and optimize your campaigns.
/plugin marketplace add nowork-studio/toprank/plugin install toprank@nowork-studio/reload-pluginsRun /search-console
Run /search-console in Claude Code. It will open your browser to sign in and connect NotFair. If the command does not appear, restart Claude Code first.
/search-consoleImportant: sign in with the same Google account you use on NotFair. Otherwise Claude Code will connect to an empty account and will not see your Google Search Console data.
Ask Claude about your ads
Try a prompt like “Audit my connected Google Search Console property and tell me the 3 pages with the biggest gap between impressions and clicks.” Claude will call NotFair tools to read your account and respond with specific, data-backed insights.
Ready to install the plugin?
Run three slash commands in Claude Code, then /search-console to sign in and link Google Search Console. Setup takes under 2 minutes — no API key.
FAQ — NotFair for Claude Code (Google Search Console)
Everything you need to know about installing and using the NotFair plugin inside Claude Code for Google Search Console.
What is the NotFair Claude Code plugin for Google Search Console?
It's the same toprank Claude Code plugin that gives Claude Code live access to your marketing data — once installed, /search-console connects Claude to your Google Search Console properties: search queries, page clicks and impressions, CTR, average position, index coverage, and sitemaps. You audit organic performance and triage indexing issues through chat in your terminal.
How is this different from the Claude Connector?
The plugin is for Claude Code — Anthropic's terminal-based coding agent. The Claude Connector is for Claude.ai Web and Claude Cowork. Both use the same NotFair backend; the install flow is just different.
How long does setup take?
Under 2 minutes. Run three slash commands inside Claude Code to add the marketplace, install the plugin, and reload, then run /search-console — Claude opens your browser to sign in with Google. No API key to copy.
Do I need to write any code?
No. Setup is entirely slash-command driven inside Claude Code. You'll paste a few commands — no JSON config edits, no environment variables, no scripts, no API keys.
Is the plugin free?
Yes. Installing the toprank plugin and using it for Google Search Console is free with no credit card. Paid plans unlock higher usage limits and team features.
Can Claude change anything in my Google Search Console through the plugin?
Almost entirely read-only. The only writes are sitemap management — submitting or removing a sitemap — and each is shown to you first and requires confirmation. Reading queries, pages, index status, and sitemaps is unrestricted.
Can I use the same plugin for Google Ads, Meta, and Google Search Console?
Yes. The toprank plugin ships skills across platforms. Once installed, run /search-console for organic search, /google-ads or /meta-ads for paid — each reads whichever platforms you've linked. Switch between them via the navbar account dropdown in the NotFair web app.
